Christmas in Richmond Hill and the Georgia Low Country

Christmas in the South – the sights, the smells, the neighborly tidings of good cheer. Although Savannah and the Georgia Low Country are known for their magical Christmas seasons, our town of Richmond Hill wins our stamp of approval for being the best place to celebrate Christmas in the South. There’s nothing that makes our team happier than spreading joy throughout our town of Richmond Hill and throughout the Georgia Low Country, so it’s been a busy December here at Bocook Realty. Here’s what we’ve been up to!

Edsel Elf

For the fourth year in a row, we welcomed our friend Edsel Elf to Richmond Hill on December 1st (did you see his grand entrance video?) Since then, we’ve been having a blast helping him spread Christmas magic around our community.

Giveaways

On National Cookie Day, our team announced that Edsel Elf had just received a stockpile of Thin Mint Cookies from his friends in the North Pole! Together with our team, Edsel is always looking for ways to surprise and delight our community, and we had a great response to our cookie giveaway. Who else thinks Thin Mints are the perfect Christmas Cookie?

Earlier in the month, Randy also held a contest and gave away a beautiful dining table from One Mama Army.

Events

Throughout the Christmas season, Richmond Hill celebrates with a multitude of family-friendly events, and our team likes to be involved with as many of them as we can! This year, we sponsored Photos with Santa at the Marne Community and Spouses’ Club Holiday Craft Fair, had fun with our neighbors at Richmond Hill’s 18th Annual Chili Cookoff, spread joy and good cheer at Richmond Hill’s 24th Annual Christmas Parade, helped with the Richmond Hill Fire Department’s Breakfast with Santa, and even sported our good spirits at the Jingle Jog 5k.

Our favorite memory of the season? If we had to choose, it would be handing out bags of goodies with Edsel Elf to the children of Richmond Hill during the Christmas Parade.

You’ve Been Elf-ed

Our team also continued our tradition of “Elf-ing” our Richmond Hill friends and neighbors throughout the season. For this sweet tradition, we deliver a yard sign and bag of goodies to community members who are also doing good and spreading joy.
